Topic: Shop Made Jigs and Fixtures

The next meeting on February 1st will cover more shop made jigs and fixtures.

Details:
Bob LaCivita is our Woodworking Fundamentals subgroup host/demonstrator.  Unless noted otherwise, Woodworking Fundamentals meetings will continue to be scheduled on the first Saturday of even numbered months, October through June, from 9:00 AM to Noon.

Bob's shop is located in the Salmon Falls Mills building, Unit 213, at 1 Front Street, Rollinsford, NH.  As you approach the building, the new wooden entry door is directly ahead in the middle of the building. Go up the flight of stairs, through the first door on left, turn right into the hallway and Unit 213 is just ahead on the left.  Please remember to bring a chair to sit on during the meeting.

Woodworking Fundamentals meetings are open to members and guests and will focus on interesting projects and workshop tasks.  Woodworking Fundamentals demonstrations always seem to provide useful nuggets of information for woodworkers of all skill levels.  Topics typically focus on areas of functional design, selection of materials, milling parts for a project, joinery techniques, tool setup, tool maintenance, proper use of machine and hand tools, advantages of using jigs, fixtures and templates, and other helpful workshop tips.
