Small Meeting-Paterae

Join Mike Cyros as we gather around the workbench to make a Federal-style oval inlay from start to finish. We will discuss styles and examples of inlays, select veneer, assemble the veneer stack, layout and cut the design, hot sand shade the pieces to achieve a visual depth effect, and then assemble and finalize the Patera, ready for inlaying into a piece of furniture.

No need to bring chairs as there are plenty in the workshop.
