THIS IS A CHANGE OF VENUE NOTICE: Claude will be demonstrating at Woodcraft in Newington on March 21! We will be using the classroom in the rear, right hand side of the store. Claude Dupuis will be demonstrating basic set-ups for segmented turnings.

Granite State Woodturners March 21, 2020 at Woodcraft Inc. in Newington, NH   PLEASE NOTE:  THIS IS A CHANGE IN VENUE!  WOODCRAFT, NOT CANTERBURY

Claude is Past President of both the Guild of NH Woodworkers and the Granite State Woodturners and a juried member of the League of NH Craftsman.   He has written several articles for the Journal and his work was showcased recently in the December issue of American Woodturner. 

Claude will be demonstrating the initial design and stock preparation for segmented turning.  He will also walk us through the necessary pre-turning steps that promote safety and help prevent injury. He will also address the use and timing of gouges and scrapers to ensure a smooth finish, inside and out. 

There will be coffee and donuts and 50/50 raffle.
