Description

This inaugural meeting of the computer numeric control (CNC) Machine group is planned to gauge interest in starting up a CNC group within the GNHW.  During the meeting an introduction to CNC machines will be provided. Detailed workflow of a typical CNC project will be demonstrated that includes; concept, design (CAD), toolpaths(CAM), and machining.  

Software that will be used includes AutoCad 2020 lite, Vectric VCarve Desktop, and G-Wizard.  The CNC machine that will be used to demonstrate the machining process will be an Axiom Precision AR4 Basic.After the demonstration a summary session will be held to discuss interest and topics for future meetings.

Note:  Meeting is being held on a no smoking property.
